certainly had its humoristic aspects many times. It is difficult to imagine how much is arranged sometimes for one shot or what is really going on left or right of the camera what is finally in the picture not visible. A “good one” in that direction was f.e. the shot when Borkumriff IV leaves the bay of Glouchester. The idea was to see her behind the fisherman´s memorial. This made it necessary to be with the camera on our rented car which we had to park illegially on the green stripe between two roads. When Borkumriff finally showed up for the shot it was of course right then that the police came – Barbara took care of that with her best charme while I had another big problem, because also a big group of tourists came to visit the memorial …. well we managed, as seen in “Tracks of Borkumriff IV”…..
