THE SKERRY CRUISER FILM
Started 2 years ago the project of a film about the Square Metre Rule is making good progress. 2008 we have taken footage during the 100 years of the rule gathering close to Stockholm as well as at the Starnberger See. This year 2010 we collected nice shots during the „Prinz Ludwig Cup“ of the 30s as well as the EM at the Bodensee. Also Sweden was visited again during a meeting at Trosa.
THE PANTAENIUS IMAGE DVD PROJECT
The Pantaenius Image DVD Project grew constantly. Originally the idea was to come up with one single track, but Pantaenius followed our idea not to mix all kind of information in one film. The result will be a complete overlook of the organisation via many tracks in different languages all the way from personal dedication to final products offered for the yachtsman.
WESTWARD
The film-project of building the replica of the famous racing schooner „Westward“ by Ed Kastelein is still going on. Although „Eleonora“ is already sailing for some years finishing the film is delayed again and again. Great footage of the rebuilding as well as under sail has been shot, but we had difficulties to get historic footage. Meanwhile also other Big Class yacht footage is shot. So it will finally be a very intense film telling the story of the famous days at the Solent during the 20s and 30s.
